" Industry research firm Key Note has predicted a threat to office equipment expenditure as a result of large-scale cuts in central and local government jobs, in the wake of the announcement of a £6bn government budget reduction under the coalition this year. In a recent Office Equipment Industry report, Key Note points to already tightening profit margins in the sector. As a result of the recession, the market value declined by an estimated 11.2% last year."
