The current state of health insurance was up for debate before the impact of COVID-19, but the pandemic has brought new focus to American healthcare. Many insurers have offered to pay for testing and treatment, and also expanded telehealth to continue serving customers. This begs the question, will broadened coverage continue after COVID-19?
In this 45-minute webinar, we’ll discuss how consumers viewed their health insurance pre-COVID-19, and how changing wellness and healthcare attitudes have the potential to influence health insurance moving forward. We’ll examine insurers’ response strategies to consumers, including the Medicare-eligible, and whether any of these strategies will remain in place post-pandemic. Finally, we’ll outline the potential challenges and opportunities for health insurers as consumers grapple with the impact of the pandemic.
